Rosacruz Trigo. Plastic poet. 1985.

Rosacruz is Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Seville in 2016, then she moved to Madrid where she completed the Illustration professional training at The Art´s school number 10 in 2012.

Perhaps, within plastic arts and poetry in arms, she began doing poetry readings and collective arts exhibitions in Madrid, Seville, León, etc.

These day, she works freelance illustrator in Seville. 

She´s been selected for Navia Illustration fair in Asturias in 2024.

She worked as manager and designer of the independent publishing house Pelagia noctiluca in Seville between 2017 and 2018.

Also she has been manager and partner of the feminist and independent artistic cultural center Espacio Sublima in Seville between 2015 and 2017.

Nowadays, Rosacruz participates in the anthology of female poets "The onion is another story", among many other projects that involves feminism, arts and ilustration.

Publications:

Tisbe de las Espinas, published by Pelagia Noctiluca editorial in May 2018 in which she creates the texts, the layout and the cover image.

The onion is another story, an anthology of female poets published by the editorial Arma Poética in 2015.

Libelalium, the first collection of poems published with Ediciones en Huida in 2013.

Awards:

Finalist in Tu poesía en micro abierto convened in Bormujos (Seville) in September 2018.

Finalist in the FILUNI Poetry Contest convened by the Autonomous University of Mexico in 2017.

Second prize for illustration awarded by the Tinta Viva group from Madrid in 2015.

First prize for poetry at the Maxi Bánegas National Contest in Alicante in 2014.

Second prize in the Isabel Ovín de Carmona poetry contest in 2013.
